We are two young marketing professionals aspiring to use this blog as an outlet for our creative expressions. We hope to not only learn from the art attacks we give the people around us, but also see ourselves grow professionally, creatively and personally. This blog will be a reminder for us to pause from our hectic, stressful lives and to find inspiration in every little thing we do.
So what was the process of coming up with our brilliant blog name? This was an intensive, week long brainstorming process. Some of our ideas include:
- The Art of Glistening
- Neons & Pastels
- Girls of Colors (!?)
And then we had an aha! moment - Simplicity in Colors.
According to the dictionary, simple means composed of a single element. In short, boring. We find inspiration in vibrant colors, coarse textures, and intricate patterns. And through our projects we try to redefine simplicity; to us it's not just black and white.
This brief description took us an hour to write, so clearly we aren't very creative with our words but we hope that our projects will speak for themselves. Cheers!
